We are looking to hire a high-energy, ambitious Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join us to support the EM Cosmetics brand. EM Cosmetics is a beauty brand developed for today’s modern consumer and inspired by our Chief Visionary, Michelle Phan . Position is based in Santa Monica, CA. 
The Social Media Coordinator will be an integral part of the team, supporting all aspects of social media marketing from driving growth and engagement on our key social channels (Instagram, Stories, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat) to influencer outreach and management. Our ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of our primary social channels, have a solid grasp of analytics and reporting and must be willing to learn continuously. Must be able to multi-task and be highly adaptable to change working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Content Specialist and Creative to create and publish content on all EM Cosmetics social media channels Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and consumer engagement metrics Track and measure success of social media initiative with reporting and analytics Manage ongoing Creator/Influencer outreach program by establishing relationships with key brand ambassadors, sending out Creator Mailers on new product launches and continually engaging with them on brand news/updates. Daily monitoring of social conversations around EM Cosmetics and participate by liking, commenting, hash tagging, retweeting, etc as it makes sense. Collect the best examples of user-generated content (UGC) to add to the regular posting schedule. Daily social conversations with customers to respond to queries Identify opportunities for giveaways, gifting, creator joint marketing campaigns and more Research the latest trends and best practices in the social and creator community Attend brand events (i.e. Generation Beauty) and activities (Creator get together, photo shoots) to capture behind-the-scenes footage for social content Other duties as assigned 

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, social media or related field 4 year college degree Passion for social media and influencer marketing Ability to connect, build and maintain relationships, and stimulate discussion Strong editorial skills in writing and proofreading Knowledge of current beauty trends, social media, and marketing tools a major plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
