Every day Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of thousands of videos on online platforms such as YouTube and Facebook – places where content can spread like wildfire! The growth of our business requires us to be excellent at building and maintaining relationships with our customers to inspire action and loyalty. To achieve this we need to produce first class content – and that’s why we need you! Our HQ is based in SoFO Stockholm and we're growing fast with offices in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Madrid, Los Angeles and New York.
We're looking for two creative minds to join the Creatives team as music curators to help us change the music industry. As a Music Curator at Epidemic Sound you will be focusing on curating content for our player and customers as well as on streaming platforms (Spotify, etc.). If you have a passion for music, TV, film, and Youtube then you will be a great addition to our amazing team.
Your job will be to ensure that our users worldwide always have the right music at hand for their projects.
This will include tasks like:
- Creating, curating and developing playlists, concepts, and albums towards various content objectives
- Performing music searches on request from external clients as well as internal departments
- Managing distribution of playlists/albums on various platforms (ES Player, YouTube, digital streaming platforms, etc.)
- Writing engaging and appealing copy for playlist and album descriptions and other music-related areas
What are we looking for
We are looking for someone who has a tireless interest in a broad variety of music, as well as deep knowledge in one or two specific genres. You are interested in, and have some previous experience of the ins and outs of the music industry. You are confident in your ability to separate "the wheat from the chaff" in terms of music quality and fit. To be successful you will need to feel the rhythm of the global music industry and stay up-to-date with its twists and turns.
As a person you are extremely creative, self motivated, efficient and a team player. You are not afraid to express your ideas and there’s no end to your creativity. Previous experience from music supervision, labels, music tech etc. is a big bonus. Fluent English is required.
