Events Coordinator


Event Coordination

This individual will:

  • Create unique, highly experiential, innovative and distinct membercentric event experiences
  • Plan events from starttofinish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Continually drive to enhance member experience with a high level of quality and creativity
  • Ensure that all events and associated collateral appropriately reflect the TMA brand
  • Prepare detailed breakeven budgets with strong fiscal discipline
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Handle the contracting of event personnel (DJs, waiters etc.)
  • Develop and lead promotional activities for the events
  • Supervise all staff (staff, caterers, volunteers, etc.)
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
  • Analyze the event's success and prepare reports

Member Engagement

This individual will:

  • Create event profiles in TMA's association management software system
  • Assist and respond to member portal inquiries
  • Review and update organization's CRM data

Digital Marketing

This individual will:

  • Handle/oversee video, audio and photo for events
  • Online event streaming and webinars


  • College Graduate
  • BS/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred 


Individual should possess ability in, or familiarity with:

  • Word
  • PowerPoint
  • Excel
  • InDesign
  • Basecamp
  • Highrise


Individual should be: 

  • A detailoriented, autodidact with interpersonal, negotiation, and member services skills;
  • Possess excellent organizational and project management skills;
  • Have knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management;
  • A problemsolver and decisionmaker comfortable working as part of a fastpaced team of clientfacing professionals.
