Sweetwater is seeking a talented up and coming Live Sound engineer to assist us here at our corporate headquarters in Fort Wayne. The ideal candidate will have experience with both analog and digital consoles mixing live sound for both music and multi-media presentations, along with a strong servant mentality and a flexible schedule. You’ll be assisting our Theater crew with set up, tear down, live meetings, power points and other traditional presentations in our Performance Theater, a number of other meeting rooms and Conference Halls here on our campus, and at some off campus venues in the Greater Fort Wayne area. You’ll also be involved in mixing musicians and bands for various meetings and performances here on our campus. You should already have a strong understanding of sound reinforcement gear, including but not limited to:

  • dynamic and condenser microphones
  • wireless microphones, wireless in ear monitors and receivers
  • public address speakers, including line arrays point sources speakers and subwoofers
  • All cabline, snakes and patch bays
  • on stage monitors
  • DAW’s
  • Instrument amplifiers and effects pedals
  • midi and other keyboard applications
  • digital and analog mixing consoles

Ideally you have several years experience mixing sound, perhaps at a live music venue, House of Worship, or similar environment. This job will involve working some evenings, early mornings, and weekends, so flexibility in your schedule is crucial. This is a full time job with full benefits, reporting to our Director of Technical Services.
