MARCOMM Inc. is looking to hire a Digital Asset Coordinator

The Digital Asset Coordinator works with the marketing communications team to manage the digital assets used in communication materials. The Coordinator will also curate and regularly communicate the department's editorial calendar. In addition, you will help manage the copy approval process for communication materials. The digital asset coordinator must be proficient in project management, Microsoft Excel and have experience with content management files including images, documents and videos. The Digital Asset Coordinator must also have a desire and proficiency to manage department budgets and process required Purchase Orders.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage digital assets used in communication materials that are delivered to customers.
  • Manage digital assets (photos, illustrations, videos, pdfs) for communication materials to support product launches and campaigns, collaborating with agencies and marketing communications staff as needed to gather assets.
  • Manage department budget and enter required Purchase Orders.
  • Develop rich metadata for assets that complies with naming and format guidelines; ensure assets have proper model and property releases and are the optimal format for publishing.
  • Upload assets and associated metadata into Celum-Synergy database.
  • Create asset collections in Celum-Synergy database for internal or external use.
  • Upload communication materials into the copy approval system to route to Marketing, Technical Service, Regulatory and Legal.
  • Work with Business Services Organization to update web links and content as needed
  • Upload final pdfs and copy approval reports to the system upon development completion.
  • Identify process improvements to streamline the asset processes for improved efficiency.
  • The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • 3 years of related job experience.
  • Administrative skills to execute communications projects, apply policies, or produce standard reports.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Previous experience with content management of photos, graphics, videos and pdfs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel
  • Experience with basic finance management
  • Cross functional team experience
  • Influencing and communication skills, analysis skills and the ability to apply basic knowledge of communications processes and technologies.
  • Strong project management skills
