Who we’re looking for:
The Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling and effective content for a variety of mediums, including websites, emails and print collateral. The ideal candidate should be able to write in a variety of styles and follow through on concepts with clear, concise and convincing copy that is grammatically and materially sound. Other key responsibilities include collaborating with the Creative and Account teams to determine copy direction to meet client needs; ensure copy tone and styles are consistent with visual tone, style and brand guidelines; and serve as a proofreader for own and others’ work.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, has an eye for detail, is self-motivated and is able to multi-task while adhering to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Brainstorming ideas and concepts
  • Meeting the account management team to discuss client requirements and product background
  • Working in a close-knit holistic creative partnership with the art director to generate workable concepts and ideas
  • Writing clear, persuasive, original copy
  • Submitting ideas and discussing progress with the creative director before making presentations to clients
  • Amending, revising or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director or clients
  • Working on several campaigns at once, under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar
  • Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion
  • Casting actors for TV and radio work, listening to voice tapes
  • Liaising with production companies, photographers, typographers, designers and printers
Qualifications What you’ll need to succeed:
    • 4+ years copywriting experience
    • Excellent writing, editing, grammar and proofreading skills
    • Experience in print and e-communication
    • Must balance multiple projects successfully
    • Provide quality control to all print and electronic elements
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people at all levels as well as within a team
    • Ability to receive critical feedback and provide revisions accordingly
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
