Job Summary

FLW Fishing is the largest tournament-fishing organization in the world and offers anglers from across the globe the opportunity to compete for millions in prize money in a number of tournament circuits each year.

FLW has an immediate need for a passionate & talented Videographer/ Photographer to join our creative department. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the design team and web team as well as all other FLW departments to provide our professional anglers, fans, customers and users with the best possible experience through photography & videography. You'll be traveling to our fishing tournaments throughout the year to take on-the-water photography, videography and still shots.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Videographer/Photographer will be responsible for conveying and elevating the FLW brand through visual storytelling using an array of photography, video, audio, and editing techniques. This position will provide ambitious compositions with a keen eye for capturing live, action photography and realizing compelling stories. We are looking for someone who is well rounded, a go-getter with a positive attitude, and willing to learn and grow. You should be comfortable working with a variety of people in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven capabilities in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Lightroom, Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Adobe Premiere
  • Maintaining video & photography equipment
  • Organizing video files and projects on SD cards and hard drives and the cloud
  • Encoding videos for any required format and uploading to media sources
  • A knack for lighting challenging scenes using mixed light sources
  • A sharp eye for when and where motion graphics, live action, or screen capture would be most appropriate
  • Demonstrated experience color correcting and grading digital video
  • In-depth understanding of camera profiles
  • Experience with a range or digital video cameras included DSLRs
  • Able to meet deadlines, follow directions, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment as well as work independently
  • Self-driven, passionate and a creative problem solver
  • Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment
  • Pleasing work demeanor with a positive can do attitude
  • Proactive nature with the ability to multi-task and follow through
  • Flexibility to travel is required. 50% Travel. Travel will be on a monthly basis, for a week at a time including over the weekend.
