StoryTeller is a Minneapolis-based digital marketing agency that creates information and stories that inspire action. Our approach to content marketing drives online conversion and a measurable return on investment for our clients. We’re also a full-service video production company.


As a leader in content and video marketing, we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who is passionate about innovative digital marketing strategies. The ideal person will demonstrate his/her proven reputation as an effective team leader and mentor.

The position requires working onsite at our St. Louis Park office, Monday – Friday.

The Account Director is responsible for leading, managing and holding accountable the members of the company’s Account team, including: Account Strategists, Associate Strategists and Interns. This person has a working knowledge and applications-based understanding of content marketing, marketing automation, and related software used to manage these strategies.

Additionally, the Account Director oversees:

  • Client Satisfaction & Growth Account Team Operations Account Team leadership & mentoring
  • Strategy Development New Business Support

Responsibilities and Duties

Strategy Development

  • Apply an advanced understanding of Content Marketing and Marketing Automation
  • Master digital marketing strategies

Client Satisfaction and Growth

  • Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the account team
  • Ensure client goals are met or exceeded
  • Help create strategic vision that leads to annual increase in client recurring revenue
  • Ensure client satisfaction among a variety of clients and levels of management

Account Team Operations

  • Ensure existing marketing team processes help reach client goals
  • Create new marketing operations processes to improve efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Monitor and manage account team utilization

Account Team Leadership and Mentor

  • Proven reputation as an effective team leader and mentor
  • Foster a collaborative workplace where all employees feel valued
  • Educate and coach evolving account strategists in the art of effective client management

New Business Support

  • Assist in pitching new business
  • Active involvement in new client onboarding

Qualifications and Skills

B.A. or B.S. Degree
