Position Summary : This position will administer the company’s social media marketing and advertising. Administration includes: planning around the strategy and tactical execution, lead generation, development of brand awareness and online reputation, content management and influencer relationships. You must be able to create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms as well as act quickly and gracefully to resolve any customer complaints or criticisms posted on social media. Additionally, this position will work with our digital marketing consultant on SEO and generation of inbound traffic.

  • Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling
  • Manage advertising spend and lead generation activities
  • Assist with concern management, bad reviews, and negative news communications.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML).
  • Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging.
  • Create and maintain company social media pages and profiles with sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies.
  • Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar.
  • Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.
  • Work with digital marketing consultant on SEO and increasing inbound traffic
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.
  • Any additional marketing projects/needs that arise

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2-5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist, including corporate social media or ad agency experience, sales metrics experience.
