Red Crown Lodge is an historic private resort on Trout Lake in Arbor Vitae, 10 minutes north of Minocqua, WI. We have an excellent opportunity for an Event & Wedding Coordinator. The position can be part-time or full-time depending on the preference of the best candidate.
Responsibilities and Duties
Primary responsibilities include administering Red Crown’s wedding and special events business. Work with clients from planning to event execution. Assist with facility tours. Coordinate and work with staff on event details including hands-on assistance to bar, banquet and kitchen staff as needed. Promote prompt, courteous and friendly service to all guests.
Successful applicants must have three or more years of experience as an event coordinator or similar experience in a related field. Must demonstrate an ability to maintain organization of details for booked events, provide outstanding customer service and conduct oversight and coordination.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have strong computer skills, excellent writing, organizational and communication skills. Banquet experience is preferred. Marketing & social media experience is a plus. Position must be available to work some weekends and late nights. A schedule will be worked out that is agreeable to both parties.
