|Position Summary The Video Board Director will direct/technical direct and execute the delivery of industry leading, high quality, audio visual technology for all events at KeyBank Center to maximize guest experience. Proficiency in Premier and Final Cut editing. Be part of creative team in developing high quality event entertainment elements. Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Director of Game Presentation and Creative Department to conceptualize and execute the delivery of industry leading, cutting edge, high quality, audio visual entertainment for all events at KeyBank Center including; Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits, league events, College sports, and various other sports and charity/community presentations;
Lead and Direct multi-camera and control room personnel to ensure a polished and complete video presentation;
Assist with the production of day-to-day operational functions of the Control Room and Event Technology including all aspects of video, audio, interfacing with broadcast infrastructure;
Incorporate all control room elements of event presentation using Ross Vision switcher. Must have working knowledge of Click Effects, Grass Valley Dyno replay system, video routing system and conversion;
Edit audio and video elements as needed;
Coordinate video productions with outside vendors using Control Room;
Keep up to date on constant changes in technology by investing new systems, techniques and equipment;
Work with media asset management system and archives;
Work independently but also ability to function as part of team;
Perform other related duties as assigned.
3-5 years’ experience control room directing;
Experience working in fast-paced, multi-project environment with ability to manage shifting priorities;
Bachelor’s degree and training in a media productions-related field;
General knowledge of live broadcast. Competencies
