Quore is dedicated to building revolutionary software that changes the way hotels operate and manage their property and staff, worldwide. Our customer-centric product improves communications between guests and staff by streamlining housekeeping, guest relations, engineering and every other aspect of running a hotel, which means smarter teams and happier hotel guests. 

We have a full-time position available for a talented video editor to assemble training content and marketing videos into a world class product aligned with our vision. As a video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together to help educate our clients. 

Role & Responsibilities 

Create videos to train our clients to use our software 

Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience 

Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video 

Input music, dialogues, graphics, subtitles and effects 

Meet deadlines within the sprints using the SCRUM methodology 

Create content on short notice for feature updates 

Create rough cuts and final cuts 

Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running 

Work with third party to coordinate voiceover and translation of videos 

Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process 

Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency 

Work closely with Creative Director and Director of Training to understand Quore’s design vision and content specifications for each project 


3 years of work experience as a video editor 

Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut) 

Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio 

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, solution driven 

Familiarity with motion graphics, 3D and compositing 

Positive attitude

Ability to meet deadlines and work on a project from concept to completion 

Creative mind and storytelling skills 

Ability to take constructive criticism 

Passion for technology 

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
